Clarifying Seven Key Tasks to Promote Quality and Efficiency in the New Campus
At the beginning of the semester in September, President Ma Hongwei visited the Sino-French Institute in Building 4 of the Songshan Lake New District and hosted a special meeting on "Promoting the Improvement of the Sino-French Joint Institute's Stationing in the New District."
President Ma Hongwei pointed out that the Songshan Lake Campus has a complete range of science and engineering disciplines and abundant resources. The Sino-French Institute must base itself on its positioning, persist in open integration and collaborative innovation, and expand students' practical and scientific horizons through co-built experimental courses and joint research projects.
He emphasized integrating party building and community education into the entire process of college governance and talent cultivation. Utilize positions like the "One Corridor, Three Rooms" in the Zhixing Community to create a multi-faceted educational platform of "Party Building + Sino-French Cultural Exchange + Academic Discussion + Innovation & Entrepreneurship."
Focusing on internationalization, the Institute needs to systematically advance international cooperation and brand building, strengthen joint education, and form landmark achievements. Use the Future Learning Center and Smart Classrooms to empower teaching. Utilize the "1000+ Young Doctors" program to build interdisciplinary platforms.
The Institute expressed that it will translate the instructions from this research into concrete actions to promote high-quality development.
