Scientific

Long-term research and development focus on intelligent control technologies for equipment, intelligent monitoring and optimization techniques for equipment operating states, and intelligent robotics technologies. Has led over 20 major research projects, including those under the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, provincial-level science and technology plans in Guangdong, and corporate initiatives. Several projects have been successfully transferred to industry, generating significant economic and social benefits.

Served as the lead drafter for one national robotics standard, which was officially implemented in May 2021. Has filed 43 national invention patents, of which 16 have been granted, along with 3 PCT patents. Published one textbook included in the "13th Five-Year Plan" for 21st-century applied talent cultivation. Authored 21 papers published in domestic and international journals.

Recipient of more than 10 scientific and technological awards, including a First Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation from the China Invention Association, First and Second Prizes of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, a Second Prize from the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a First Prize for Science and Technology from the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, and a Silver Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

Teaching Experience

Has taught courses including Robotics Technology, PLC Technology, Numerical Control Technology, and Introduction to Intelligent Manufacturing. Supervised 23 master’s students and co-advised 2 doctoral candidates.

Received the Second Prize in Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Online Teaching Cases for Undergraduate Universities and the First Prize in the university-level competition of the First National College Teaching Innovation Contest. Recognized as an Outstanding Instructor in the Guangdong Provincial Engineering College Student Experimental Skills Competition, awarded Outstanding Class Advisor by Dongguan University of Technology, and received the Xingtan Excellence in Teaching Award from Dongguan University of Technology.

Established teaching practice bases and joint laboratories through industry-academia-research collaborations and technological partnerships with numerous domestic and international institutions and enterprises, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Edinburgh Napier University, and GAC Group.
