东莞理工学院法国国立工艺学院联合学院正式获教育部批准成立以来，中法联合学院筹建工作进入了招生开学准备阶段，各项工作有条不紊，顺利推进。近日，我校副校长兼中法联合学院院长杨敏林率团访问法国国立工艺学院，与法国国立工艺学院工程师学院院长、中法联合学院联合管理委员会委员TERRE MICHELLE和法国国立工艺学院中国事务负责人、中法联合学院法方院长（拟任）张明军博士等举行了工作会谈。
会谈中，双方互相通报了中法联合学院9月份开学的各项准备工作进展情况。就法方外籍师资选派、在莞生活配套设施安排、招生宣传安排和学院揭牌仪式、开学仪式安排等进行了详细讨论。杨敏林表示，中法联合学院招生开学准备工作进入了最后冲刺时期，希望双方再接再厉，团结一心，扎实做好各项筹建工作，为9月份首批学生入学做好一切准备。MICHELLE表示，法国国立工艺学院将按照我方的要求和建议，为法方师资选派、招生宣传等工作提供一切所需支持。同时法国国立工艺学院将派员来莞参加联合学院计划6月份举行的揭牌仪式以及9月份举行的开学仪式。双方还就中法联合学院准备工作中其它一些细节问题进行了详细讨论。
访问期间，杨敏林还代表学校看望了正在法国国立工艺学院工程师学院进行3+2硕士项目学习的我校交流生陈振凯、谢丽君同学。听完两位同学在法国的学习和生活情况的介绍，看到两位同学能够迅速适应在法国国立工艺学院全新的学习和生活环境，杨敏林表示非常欣慰。杨敏林勉励他们增强信心、克服困难、珍惜机遇，展现出我校学生良好的专业水平和精神风貌。
DGUT-CNAM Institute, Dongguan University of Technology Achieving Steady Progress
DGUT-CNAM Institute, Dongguan University of Technology ( “DGUT-CNAM Institute”) has achieved steady progress since the approval of its establishment from the Ministry of Education, with smooth work in student enrollment preparation. Recently, Yang Minlin, Vice President of DGUT and Dean of DGUT-CNAM Institute led a delegation to visit CNAM, and held a working meeting with TERRE MICHELLE, Dean of Engineering School of CNAM and member of DGUT-CNAM Institute Joint Management Committee and Dr. Zhang Mingjun, Head of China Affairs of CNAM and Dean (CNAM side) of DGUT-CNAM Institute (Tentative).
In the meeting, both parties made presentation on the progress of various work concerning DGUT-CNAM Institute’s student enrollment which will start in this September, and conducted thorough discussion on the selection and appointment of French teachers, the arrangement of life supporting facilities for French teachers in Dongguan, student enrollment publicity, opening ceremony of DGUT-CNAM Institute and school opening ceremony. Yang Minlin said that the student enrollment preparation work DGUT-CNAM Institute is at the final spurt stage. He hopes both parties will make persistent efforts and unite as one, and accomplish all preparatory work to prepare for the first batch of students in September. MICHELLE said that CNAM will provide all necessary supports for the selection and appointment of French teachers and student enrollment publicity in accordance with DGUT’s requirements and suggestions, and CNAM will send representatives to attend the opening ceremony of DGUT-CNAM Institute in June and the school opening ceremony held in September in Dongguan. The two parties also thoroughly discussed some other details of the preparation work concerning DGUT-CNAM Institute.
During the visit, Yang Minlin also visited Chen Zhenkai and Xie Lijun, the exchange students of DGUT, who are studying 3+2 master degree program in Engineer School of CNAM on behalf of DGUT. After listening the presentation on study and life of those two students, and seeing those two students’ adaption to the learning and living environments in CNAM, Yang Minlin expressed his appreciation, and encouraged them to enhance their confidence, overcome difficulties and cherish opportunities, as well as show the good professional standard and spiritual appearance of our students.
