DCI Launched a Series of Collection of Works and Activities to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party

01 Purpose of the Activities

Focusing on the theme of "Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China", a series of solicitation and selection activities of "excellent Party lectures, excellent cases, articles about learning and thinking, stories of joining the Party, moving moments and words in the heart" were carried out in the fundamental party organizations of all levels in the University, which fully demonstrated the spirit of hard work and responsibility of our Party organizations and Party members, and encouraged the majority of Party members, including teachers and students to carry forward the “red tradition”, inherit the “red gene”, continue the spiritual blood of the Communists, and summon up the spirit of marching into a new journey and a new era.

02 Content of Works

Classes in DCI: in accordance with the notice of the Organization Department of the municipal Party Committee on carrying out the "seven hundred" series collection and selection activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party and the relevant requirements of the Provincial Department of Education on collecting the performance of artworks in Colleges and Universities, the relevant departments of the University require DCI to carry out a series of collection of works and selection activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.

"Party Class Begins" boutique micro-Party class (Project No. 1)

All student Party members are encouraged to hand in excellent micro-Party videos about studying and implementing President Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for New Era, important lectures, guidance and instructions on Guangdong province, important statements on education; excellent micro-Party videos about outstanding Party members, cadres and "role models" studying and implementing the spirit of the third Party congress of the University, and in key tasks such as the model college of a new high-level University of science and technology in terms of teaching and scientific research, social services and the integration of industry and education in the decisive battle to get rid of poverty, win the battle of epidemic prevention and control, and accelerate the construction of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao BayArea.

Requirements: mainlyMicro-party videos, with a duration of no more than 20 minutes. Video requires clear images and sound quality, and appropriate interspersed with classroom scene, interactive interaction with listeners, courseware essence content and other fragments. The title of the video should include headlines,thespeaker's name, etc. The video shall be named in the format of "title ofthevideo – speaker’s name", and two formats shall be submitted at the same time: TS or mov (1080 / 50i / 50Mbps), MP4 (1080 / 25p / 8mbps). The text of the video (word version or PPT) shall be attached. Please name the video with "project number + author’s class + name + title ofthevideo".

Theme Article on "Learning History and Understanding Truth" (Project No. 2)

All student Party members are encouraged to write articles about thoughts in learning Party history.Excellent articles will be selected and submitted to the University. After proofreading by experts, several excellent articles will be reviewed and published through the University and college media, and representative works will be selected and recommended to Guangdong province and other cities for selection.

Requirements: Articles should be limited to2000 words. Please name the article with "project number + author’s class + name + title ofthearticle".

Collection of Photography Works with the Theme of "Looking for the Moving Around" (Project No. 4)

All students in DCI are encouraged to hand in photos or a set of photos about the moving people around who are brave to take responsibility on campus, people who love life more, are brave and strong, and are willing to share their youth experience. The excellent works selected by DCI will be handed over to the University, and the University will organize an expert group to select and determine the best. The moving moments will be displayed intensively through the campus media, and representative works will be selected and sent to Guangdong province and other cities for selection.

Requirements for photos: JPG format, not less than 10m, resolution up to 300dpi. At the same time, students need to hand in a description of creation about 150 words. There is no limit to shooting equipment. Both colored and black-and-white photos can be taken. The size of single photos and group photos of photographic works (no more than 4 in each group, and the sequence number shall be indicated) is 14 inches. Except for image processing, computers and darkroom technology shall not be used to change the original image. The author shall have complete copyright in the entries and ensure that the submitted works do not infringe the legitimate rights and interests of the third parties, including copyright, portrait right, reputation right, privacy right, etc.

"Tell the Truth to the Party" Solicitation Activity (Project No. 5)

All teachers and students in DCI are encouraged to express what they want to say to the Party in the form of short articles, micro-videos, calligraphy, and painting. The excellent works will be selected in DCI, posted ontheDCI website and DCI WeChat official account, and recommended to the University.

The types and requirements of the collected works are as follows:

Short article works (Project No. 5-1): in the form of poetry, prose, letters, narrative, argumentative papers, etc., with freestyle and true feelings. The works shall not exceed 500 words and shall be submitted in word document format.

Micro video works (Project No. 5-2): freestyle expression and recording methods. The voice can be transmitted via the lens, expressed in the form of songs, dances and performances, and recorded in the form of delayed shooting, vlog, micro-documentary and so on. It is required that the picture be clear and the sound isclear, and it is recommended to mark subtitles. The micro movie video adopts mpg format, and the duration can be selected in two ways: within 1 minute or within 15 minutes. The work shall be attached with the "author's voice" within 500 words, which can include the original intention of creation, creative ideas, emotions, and blessings to be expressed, etc. If it is an oral video, you can provide a speech.

Calligraphy and painting work (Project No. 5-3): (1) calligraphy works can be couplets, banners, fans, etc. Please attach translation for lines, grass, compilation, etc. You can make poetry couplets by yourself. The content should be relatively coherent and complete, and the form is not limited. The work must be neat and free from alteration, and submitted with a single photo or scanned copy. (2) There are no restrictions on the creative style and form of painting works. The content of the work should be prominent in theme, positive and upward, with high ideological, artistic, and ornamental. Submit electronic pictures in JPG format; Hand-drawn works shall be submitted with photos or scanned copies. The work shall be attached with the "author's voice" within 500 words, which can include the original intention of creation, creative ideas, emotions, and blessings to be expressed, etc. Please name your work with "project number + author’s class + name + work name".

Relevant description:

1. The deadline for submission of all works is April 10. Participants should send their works via email before the deadline.

2. All participants can get moral education credits for participating in college-level activities.

3. From April 10 to April 13, the college will select several awards according to the number of works submitted by each project. The winners can obtain the honorary certificate of the college and the corresponding award-winning moral education credits (without superposition of participation points).

4. After layers of selection, the award-winning works may win school level, municipal and provincial awards, be published or performed publicly, and receive corresponding honorary certificates and corresponding moral education scores.
